Do you know of a program that when run will generate a list of all installed program & save it as a file? I usually use paper & pencil, but i'm trying to find a faster solution.

If you haven't figured it out with the other posts. You can go into CCleaner and under the uninstall tab theres a generate text file button that makes a list.

Hm. OP should read this and this. In summary the Win32_Product class, when queried has a nasty side effect; it will trigger Windows Installer to perform a consistency check to verify the health of the application being iterated, just take a look in your event log. As suggested it would be better to use Win32reg_AddRemovePrograms. But as I have found in my experience: The WMI based alternatives are Win32Reg_AddRemovePrograms & Win32Reg_AddRemovePrograms64 BUT they are not guaranteed to capture everything and may not even be present at all. I have had success instead by working with the registry directly using this key: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall.
