I need some help installing teamspeak3 on Linux

So I blew my power supply in my main rig so I grabbed my old Linux Server Out of the closest and am using it as my desktop I am currently running 13.10 32bit, I just don't know how to install this .run file for teamspeak and can't seem to find anything on line that tells me how to do it, I am sort of a windows junky so I don't have much experience on Linux at all.

What Linux distro are you using? Ubuntu, Debian, Opensuse etc

You need to make the .run file executable. For that navigate to the folder in your terminal and

$ chmod +x tssomething.run. 

Then execute the file from terminal.

$ ./tssomething.run

It will create a folder with teamspeak in it. (oh and ask you a bunch of things, I think the license agreement)

Yours will probably not be called that though as you are using 32bit.

The ts3client_runscript.sh will run the teamspeak client. I can't remember if it was executable, but you should just be able to double click it.

If you want you can move the folder to a better location and create a symbolic link to it. I don't know though what the best place to move it would be, or how to get ubuntu to show it in the applications thing.

Well you can find teamspeak 2 in most repositories, I guess it is some decision teamspeak made to not have teamspeak 3 there. No idea why that happened though, it certainly is highly retarded.
