Swiftech H220X

I'm surprised no one has talked about this yet or at least I think no one did. Anyways, Swiftech released this and I think it looks fucking amazing. Hopefully they don't get sued again.

Great another AIO...

Maybe this isn't the popular opinion but I think AIO's are pretty terrible right now.

People who just want cooling go custom loop. If they can't afford a custom loop, the NHD15 is quieter than an AIO and performs better or the same as one.

Bascially AIO<NHD15<Custom loop

Why would anyone buy an AIO? Small form factor cases, maybe, but Noctua makes low profile coolers too and  then you don't have to worry about the noise or tubes to route. Right now I don't really see the appeal to AIO's.

wonder if it is expandable like the h220/ h320

It is. You should see some builds they have with it.

Here's one, but it's a bad example. Just imagine it all colour coordinated.

I don't see swiftech being sued on this since its a inhouse design with the pump and res being built into the rad, but I do have to say it looks amazing as all hell

I sorta want this to work with acrylic tubing.

Quote from the swiftech site:

"The factory fittings can now be upgraded to any G1/4 compatible after-market fittings (an optional adapter is needed for the pump outlet and will be available shortly), which will allow enthusiast users to upgrade their system to 1/2" ID tubing if they wish to."

So I would imagine that you would be able to use any hardline fittings as well.

Yay for options!

I'm not crazy about the way the pump hangs below the reservoir. Looks like an after-thought.

I don't think this is the case. The rad is 247mm x 126mm, this gives higher compatibility with a lot of cases. The H100i is 275mm x 120mm for compirson

You could say the h220x is the best 240mm AIO and has the smallest footprint.

Do you guys think it will fit in a Corsair Obsidian 250D? I am wondering cause the Rad is smaller than my H100i and with the pump mounted including the rad there seems to be enough room from the bottom side until the pump begins so it will fit perfectly without the 5,25 Bay.

Perhaps. I'd watch for the fan though.

Got mine a few days ago, will be expanding it to gpu, replacing tubing and adding a rad. Waiting on rest of parts to come in. Excited!

Why? The Obsidian 250D fits a 30mm rad + 25mm fans normally. I do use a H100i on it now so i really guess it will work.
