Well my son was reminded today of why before we had 2 consoles at my place for us to play games on and that was because we both hate split screen.  We were attempting to play Borderlands 2 and it didn't go well as the split screen made me dizzy and probably the same for him and he quit after the first boss.  Anyone else absolutely hate split screen?

(For the record 1 console is now at his step mom's place because she has never bought him an Xbox 360. Bah)

 

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

I dont like split screen on Mario Kart 8.

I remember 4 player Timesplitters: Future Perfect on split screen back in the PS2 days, that was a blast.

 

Couldn't stomach it now I've had the glory of PC for too long.

I always hated split screen, but loved playing 2 play on the PS1 with the link up cable :D

I hate it to, it limits what you can see and while you may be moving the camera to the the right, the bottom screen could be moving to the left and thats just painful xD

I don't think anybody likes split-screen... we just deal with it when we can't LAN.

I loved 4 player Golden Eye/Perfect Dark and Mario Kart 64, but now I too get dizzy.

same after played games occupying 70% or more of your vision playing split screen with something like 20% of your fov becomes unbearable, the last time i played something split screen was MW3 on my cousins place, i was more annoyed by that that the game itself...

I dont like split screen on Mario Kart 8.

I was actually surprised when I first played mario kart 8 on the Wii U, I was at a friend's house, we played two player full screen by using special dualplay glasses, essentially 3D glasses but with the same filter on each eye... It was pretty cool, although do compromise on resolution, but at least you get to see the entire screen.

Use to love playing ps1, nintendo64 and ps2 split screen with friends and family but now i cant handle it thats why if u only have one console u should get one of these

on my current monitor I can live with it as long as it is split vertically and not horizontally.
