Crysis 2 stuck at "Creating Account" screen

So i bought crysis 2 in the steam sale and i have not tried to play it until now. when i launch the game it asks me to create an account so i do, but every time i do it just get stuck at the creating account loading page. i looked online and a lot of people have been having this problem but i did not find a fix. Is there anyone on here that knows of a fix for this?

Processor- Intel i7 4790k Ram- 16GB G.Skill Trident X 2400MHz Motherboard- ASUS Maximus VII Hero GPU- EVGA Geforce GTX 780Ti 3GB Storage- 1TB Western Digital Black + 256GB Samsung Pro SSD PSU- Corsair HX750 Cooling- Corsair H100i
Operating System- Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit Case- Cosrsair Obsidian 450D Display- ASUS VX238H Mouse- Corsair Vengeance M65 Keyboard- CM Storm QuickFire TK

If you have an Origin account you can just use that to sign in. Or create an account on EA's website instead. However today they said they are having login issues so you might have to wait until it's fixed.

Try creating an account after turning off your network adapter or unplugging your ethernet cable. It should create an offline account when it fails to connect to the internet.

I wasnt trying to play online, u just wanted to play the story mode, ill try your suggestions i hope it works
