[Finished] The Renewal - 1080mm rad, 6700k, Z170 Asrock OC Formula, 980 Ti Matrix

Lays

he charges lots though I think, and I don't like paracord much I had some paracord sleeving in my old build, and the colors always seemed to look a tiny bit faded, since it's cloth instead of plastic sleeving.

Than there's also ericlee30 but i'm not %100 sure he does custom sleeving.

Yeah the major issue with the 1000 p2, is that some of the wiring has two wires in one pin. The 24 pin for instance is 28 pins at the PSU, and merges into 24 for the mobo.  A few sleevers I talked to said they wouldn't do it, because crimpers can get messed up from trying to crimp 2 wires in one pin?

Luckily I got ahold of Icemodz awhile back and he said he'd do them in the future. Nice guy and always really helpful whenever I needed help!

@SAV1OUR I'll just leave it like this instead, my specs are so half-assed right now since my build is still a work in progress.

Haaha, na I probably should vacuum again, haven't in a month or so. My cousin was in my room with his PC for about a week while he waited to get his desk+chair.

There's probably quite a mess under the desk/around it now lol.

Speaking of which I just built him a PC yesterday in an R4.  He got the same one I did, and it showed up yesterday so I took pictures of that instead of mine, so I wouldn't have to rip everything out lol.

He was using my 900D before that temporarily, look how ridiculous this looks!!!!

I love big cases. <3

Funny thing is last year when I started to plan my build I was going to go for the R4 then I saw the 900D and fell in love but couldn't afford it then so I got the 750D now I want @VSG case

Bah. With the extended top, casters and pedestal it stands closer to 4' 5"

If you need a 6 foot case, get 2 more pedestals :P

Or you could get one of those Haf Stackers that Cooler Master makes and just stack your way to heaven.

If you get leather cleaner+ conditioner (like $10 at an auto parts store) you can drastically increase it's lifespan! Just use it every couple months and it'll be in good condition for quite awhile.

It's from ebay, let me get you the link buddy

My cousins 7950 showed up, and so did my 2 SP120 quiet edition fans.

So...... I'm sort of disappointed with LTT's air cooling section...

The amount of people saying Corsair SP120's are bad, regardless of quiet/high performance edition is rather stupid, they're NOWHERE NEAR as bad as people say.

They're only a few decibels louder than my gentle typhoons at 12 volts, at 12 volts they're louder for sure, but it's really not that much.  At 5v it's barely noticable, although they have a tiny bit of motor grinding noise, hardly noticeable unless you put your ear next to it.

At 7v, they're a tiny bit louder.

Considering you can get them on ebay for like $10 a fan, I'd totally recommend SP120 quiet editions if money is tight.  Especially considering you can paint the rings.

I told you they get a bad rap here from a lot of people who have never tried them or have only run them at full speed. Ditto with the whole Noctua fanatism.

Tbh, NF-F12 aren't very good IMO.  Better than any crappy OEM fan probably, but "high end" fans tend to perform on par if not better than them.

Martin's liquid lab made a good case for that lol.  After owning 4 NF-F12's and comparing them to my GT's first hand, I can most definitely say I'll never recommend them.

I swear, these SP120 QE's are quieter than those NF-F12's I had at 12 volts.

currently painting the rings to see how they turn out. Will post pics soon.
