Am I the only one here that is waiting for Intel to release Skylake?

I am waiting for Haswell - E

Although, recent news has me interested in Skylake... as Haswell - E isn't so much better than LGA1150 or future 1151 platform :/

But... 8 intel cores... so much want! xD

I'm waiting till Skylake, since I'm getting a Core i5-2500K before the year is out I may as well wait for the release of Skylake or maybe even Skylake-E.

Depends on how good DDR4 is when Skylake launches. Don't want to wast hundreds on DDR4 if what is available is not significantly better than the DDR3 2133Mhz CL9 in my rig now.

intel will have absolutely no competition anymore when skylake will release so expect the prices to be off the chart.

From what I read DDR4 is supposed to be way more powerful and requires less power.

I just really don't see the point of haswell refresh or broadwell when SATA express drives are barely even available. Seems wiser to wait for DDR4 and PCI-E 4.0.

Plus I am suspecting that Skylake will be the first chip to full take advantage of the GTX 800 series ARM chip. Time will tell I guess.

hang on and let me get my crystal ball...  I see... I see... a a 10% ICP improvement over Broadwell and further improved iGPU. i see... increased power savings of about 24% at idle and 13% at load and i see ... I see... oh no... oh no no no. so many people complaining their cries for more overclocking head room can be hard all over the forums of the world, its terrible.
