Cheapest custom CPU loop?

So I am looking into building a custom loop CPU loop right now, and I was just wondering what a basic, entry level loop would run me. It can either be a DIY kit that I put together myself, or it can just be a list of parts. I am just kinda curious as to how much it would cost to build a basic CPU loop. Thanks!

$300 for a sketchy one. $500 for a proper one.

I'm pretty sure it would be cheaper and more efficient to use an AIO.

I do have an AIO right now, but I'm not very pleased with it. My Swiftech H220 has been nothing but annoying for me, so I have a H100i on the way. If that doesn't work out, then I'll send it back and probably just go the custom route. I just wanna have something planned if the H100i doesn't work. I was just curious as to how much it would cost because I saw a kit on Frozen CPU for 150 bucks, and it looked like it came with everything minus tubing, so I was thinking of just ditching the AIOs all together and going custom because it didn't seem to be that much more epensive.

Makes sense, but typically custom loops are a lot more expensive than they should be. However if you take your time it would be more reliable as well.

Well thats why I was wondering how much a basic loop would be, lol. I see people spending like 30 bucks just for one fitting, and that stuff gets expensive. I just wanted to see if a basic loop would be for me yet, or if I should wait a bit until I can afford a better one.

Get custom loop kit?, really I can't think any way cheaper than this.

I think the custom loop kits are probably the cheapest way to get everything you need. EK and Swiftech make some pretty high end ones, and I would say they are quite pricey. XSPC makes kits that I think are nicer on your wallet, but be sure to get the kit with either a DDC or a D5 pump.

What was wrong with it? Noisy pump? If you wanted a cheap custom loop the Swiftech AIOs would be a start to build on since you'd only need a gpu waterblock and maybe an extra rad.

I suspect you mean cheap but good and basic right? well the pricing can range from $170 - $260 with the ones closer to $260 being really good.
