Lower performance

Nominoid
Go to solution Solved by Jodomcfrodo,

0-30 is 45%, 31-60 is 46-60%, 61-80 is 61-80%(this is not a mistake the percent just lines up with the temps), 81-90 is 81-100%.

Thermal throttling, replace thermal paste and reseat cooller.

In almost any game I play my frames have gotten lower. In bf4 my system would play it at 70-60 frames (capped at 70) and in csgo I would get 100-250 frames but now I get about 30 in bf4 and 20-80 frames in csgo. My system specs are amd fx-6300, amd 7950, 8 gigs of hyperx.

Yes but it is currently the 21st and I have not had any drop in performance until today and it is in every game I play.

Then something is really wrong. Check your clockspeeds of your GPU. Check in your bios. to check your ram. And try try try. Otherwise go to a computer store.

They did not break the game with the July 8th patch, no one else is complaining. So, overnight did anything happen to your PC? Was it running? I would check you temperatures of your GPU, your CPU usage, make sure your video settings didn't change and make sure your XMP profile is on.

PC: 4770K @ 4.0 GHz --- Maximus VI Hero --- 8 GB 2133 MHz Corsair Vengeance Pro --- EVGA 780 TI Classified @ 1300 MHz --- Samsung Evo 250 GB --- Corsair RM 750 --- Corsair Carbide Air 540 --- CM Storm Rapid-I (MX Blues with PMK Evergreen Keycaps) --- Windows XP --- Razer Naga --- Custom Loop Parts: 380I, EKWB 780 Classy Waterblock and Backplate, 240mm and 360mm XT45, Swiftech MCP655, EKWB multi option reservoir, Mayhems Pastel Red, Primochill Primoflex Advanced Clear Tubing, 5 SP 120 Quiet Editions --- Mobile: Surface Pro 3 (i5 128gb) with JD40 (MX Clears) and Microsoft Sculpt Mouse --- Galaxy S6

I did go into my bios and everything was where I left it. also I opened up the side panel checked all the connections and everything was good and the same as when I built it a year ago.

I turn off my pc every night and I already checked my gpu and cpu temps. the cpu is at 22 c on the hottest core and the gpu is at 52 c. my memory profiles are fine so I don't know what it could be.

Watercooled? Or are your components doing nothing?

It is using a xigmatek dark knight night hawk on the cpu, and is using the xfx stock cooler on the gpu, these are idle temps.

52c at idle is ridiculous... What is your fan curve?

Should I think about buying something like the kraken g10 because the cooling fan is quite small. here is a like to it on amazon for pics. http://www.amazon.com/XFX-DisplayPorts-PCI-Express-FX795ATNFC-FX-795A-TNFC/dp/B0074CCDTS/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1405976347&sr=8-3&keywords=7950+xfx. I also have the money to upgrade to a newer better gpu if that is a option.
