Maxwell isn't getting stacked RAM, it's being held back till Pascal, meaning the 900 series (GM210) won't have it either.

I'm surprised no one saw your post before. Yeah, Sapphire only makes AMD cards so this source isn't very reliable.

I would expect the price of the older ones to slide down a bit just before the new ones are released.
And then the new ones will come out around the same price you can get the current models for.
I think it will be an interesting Christmas gift idea.

I think whoever owns 7xx can just wait and see if NVIDIA skips 20nm as some are already suggesting...

If they do I think we will see some 16nm graphic cards next year and those will really be exciting.

yeah no. you see a sapphire card on the homepage with titles 290x and 780 Ti and call this fake for that reason? we see the comment, we just ignored it because it was a stupid mistake.

The guy who wrote the original article was quite accurate about NVIDIA related news before.

His source is very close to NVIDIA itself.

Both AMD and NVIDIA will try to bring something new and interesting for the Christmas season...

It will make even more sense especially if the rumors about both A and N skipping 20nm come true.

If this is true, I'm going to have to sell my 780 and pick up one of these. Totally going to be a EVGA card when it's released.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)
