Latest patch causing graphical errors for anyone else?

rentaspoon

Thought I would play a game last night, had a lot of errors with the helmet disappearing causing a giant blue box to appear instead of the HUD, the planet had super bloom and clicking the exit button caused a red to green box appear next to the button.

Haven't put a report in yet as all it captures is a black screen

what graphics card are you using, driver versions, crossfire/sli, these are needed info. if crossfire/sli it's busted, you're boned until amd/nvidia get it sorted.

Single R9 270, latest drivers. Don't think it's the card, will have to take some pictures and post it up.

Think it's just me just wanted to check this isn't a worldwide thing

Typical, setup a second PC and capture card and everything works fine

I have the same problem, GTX 760 latest drivers. Hangar also takes longer to load up suddenly, and assets keep getting loaded in without textures at first. Something is fucked up.

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

star citizen isnt even out yet

Yeah we know. And we know that it's gonna get fixed eventually. But it's a good topic for discussion and since it's happening to others the OP can know that it's not a problem on his end.

Oh haha I see what you mean. The game is in pre-alpha right now and they are releasing parts of the game out to the public for testing. First it was the Hangar Module which allowed you to view the different ships and most recently the Dogfighting Module or "Arena Commander" as it's called which allows for actual space flight and dogfighting. So the game hasn't been released but parts have been made available to select people for testing.

I have issues, but I'm also an SLI guy. Haven't tried it on just one card yet.

Never say it's not broken. Everything is broken. Why? Because everything needs MOAR POWA!

Disable SLI and try again. Should help.

I would, but I am kinda stuck with it. I have the SLI to drive my UHD monitor. 1 card means unplayable frame rates @uhd. Lowering resolution creates nasty shadowing and tearing. Rock/me/hard place.

sli/crossfire doesn't work, and is an issue that both nvidia and amd are working on, because it's actually an issue in the cards.

Damn..

Guess you'll have to wait a little for the SLI/Crossfire fixes to come up.

I'm on a single card so maybe any multi card setup users can help here?
