If you are just starting out I would say start with some LED fans or lights...
While some people say painting is easy... it's hard to do it right...

If you have the tools a window mod is pretty easy. If not, it's still pretty straight forward, just expensive because you need the tools and materials.

Cutting an 80mm fan slot.

Oh God no...

Good cable management can make a build look awesome, but may not be a "mod". Lighting is a good way to go if you have a window :)

Outch. Here's a really well done HAF 912 with a great 80mm fan slot done. The HAF 912 was my first case that I bought and the first case that I modded. Also the first one that I threw away.

my friend has that case, legendary for the price

im just sad that when I asked him if he's cleaned it after about 2 years he said no...  :(

Linux "nerd".  If I helped you please like my post and maybe add me as a friend :)  ^_^!
