How does the C920 compare to equally priced Video Cameras?

Title says it all. Is the performance you get for this webcam even comparing to a $100 video camera?

I can't really seem to find a comparison between the two but I guess no one really ever thinks of that.

I guess so. :P. But some people buy webcams to make not live typish videos so I figured that if a Video Camera was better then why not just get that?

Zoom on it's gonna suck. Most likely a digital zoom and not an optical zoom. Other than that however, pretty good.
