Battleblock Theater Is Free On Xbox Live Right Now!

xRAGExSounDxRIOTX

If you are not aware, Microsoft is running their own free games service like PS+. This half of July, Battleblock Theater is free. It is an extremely fun platformer and highly recommend you try it, especially if you have friends to play this.

I think Microsoft is getting better with their selection of free games. They've recently had Dark Soul's and Max: Curse of The Brotherhood for free. Hitman: Absolution, Deadlight, Dust: An Elysian Tail, Crackdown, Dead Island, Dungeon Defenders, Gears of War, Shoot Many Robots, and Toy Soldiers: Cold War were free.

Dumb question alert: Is Live Gold required?

I'm against paying $50 a year to not have fun while a baby teen calls me bad words from across the world. Call me old fashioned...

Yes an Active Gold subscription is required to qualify for games with gold. I barley play live for that exact reason, but the XB1 without live just doesn't feel like the same experience hence the only reason why I have it.

I might have some two day codes that came with some of my games that I can give to you to download this if you want it.

That makes sense with the centralized focus on social networking and online play. I personally miss being able to play games with friends sitting next to me, haha. Nothing beats getting 7-8 friends together, making your own crossover cable, order some huge pizzas, and set the screens back to back to prevent screen looking. :D

That's actually pretty cool, I appreciate that if you wouldn't mind digging about. That reminds me that I may even have some buried in all the games I have. I'll dig around and see what I can find and let you know. Thanks!
