Which audio route should I go?

kennethk

Hi guy's, I'm looking to improve my audio set up, currently I have a VM Audio EXM8582 (cant find anything related to it online anymore) and well it just lacks the rich audio depth that I enjoyed with the logitech z506 that I use to have.

I'm thinking about getting a Bluetooth capable soundbar for my tv and just sticking with that, or my second option is to get something along the lines of a Logitech z506 5.1 system as well as a bluetooth adapter, I'd have to get a optical to rca adapter for my tv also to make it work.

But if I go with the logitech z506 I'd have to spend about $50 on adapters and the system itself can be bought for about $60.

So I'm leaning towards the soundbar option since it'll have rca/optical as well as bluetooth connectivity, I'm looking to spend around $100 to make the upgrade.

So all advice will be notable. :)

If I were you, I'd save up a bit more and put it towards a proper entry level system. Here is an example of an entry level 2.1 home theater for about $450USD with sales.

This would be a HUGE improvement over any soundbar or Logitech system. Heck, it would even make an awesome computer system.

I wish you were me so I could afford all that stuff.
