What cryptocurrencies should I mine with a GPU? I'm not looking to make a profit, it just want to do this for fun.

There are dozens of different cryptocurrencies, most of them these days are Litecoin with a different logo.

Well for fun I would have to say doge, but it's not really viable to mine with a gpu. There are hundreds of other coins that you can mine running on a good dozen different algorithms that are currently asic resistant. Most of these use much less power then scrypt mining and don't stress your hardware nearly as much.

Users cannot, and will not securely manage key material. Most users can't and the ones that can, wont.

LOL, I have got to say its good to see that LTT has got someone with some knowledge to throw around at all the fools here. I dont post much here but everything AK spits out it dead on.

 

 

FYI. I have seen AK on mining pools/forums since around feb/april of 13 and has personally helped me with issues way back when netcode pool was just starting up.
