Great shot with great lighting.  I really love the lighting in the scene.  The red on the house, the orange of the fire, it all feels like something out of a movie.

 

 

That's one mean looking cock...  I don't mind the tilt/angle.  I wish I could see more of the top of the head.  The beak is a bit hot/bright.  RIP (maybe)... :mellow:

I'd give it an 8.5 out of 10, that one bush has a radioactive green tint to it and it's just really annoying me.

 

I just decided to try something new late at night with my Dad's car in our drive way, it was kinda fun, and I'm pretty sure this isn't how you would normally light a car, but I wanted to get a kind of ghetto rigged spur of the moment, still looks cool effect. License plate blurred for obvious reasons, next time I do this, I think I'll take the front plate off so that I don't need to blur it, as I think it kind of detracts from the rest of the image.

Heat of the moment picture (kinda wanted to give my two cents on the car lol), so pardon that.

 

@1823alex, I rather like the subject, but a few glaring things. 1. The license plate: The blur is distracting, so I think it would have been better just to take it off. 2. Car in background: Again, distracting IMO. 3. Blur by right-most light: Seems really random but I imagine this was to keep whoever was there out of the picture. Other than that, I like it. Solid 7.12322 outta me.

 

And is that a Michigan plate or... Is it just similar...

I like the concept, good idea to remove the license plate next time too. I tried the same thing a few years back and it took me a couple tries to get right, the photo below was my final result. I would recommend shooting the flash through a white translucent umbrella (or something similar) so that the light is more even on the car. The stairs and railing on the right are a bit distracting to me but that's an easy fix. Its good for a first attempt.

Nice lighting for the low key shot. I wish I could see what size the flash drive was since we can see the size the other drive is. Other than that, it looks good for a heat of the moment pic.

 

Here is mine. I took 5 different shots and lit a different section of the car with each one, then overlapped them in photoshop and removed the flares that the flash made.

Ya... I would've liked to remove the plate, but it was later in the night, and Dad wasn't to keen on the bolts being good enough to put back onto the car later. Illinois plate btw. Blur by the right most light, was as you had guessed me, holding my flash and running around the car, test firing it because why not. I do agree the car in the background is distracting, but for a quick 5 minute idea, It turned out better than I was expecting.

I love the way it looks, very professional esk. Although, I feel like the grass in the front should be more green, it looks black almost.

I am only posting this because I think it looks like an A-Bomb in the distance the picture is terrible as it's zoomed in a lot and taken with my phone on auto settings. Just stopped in a layby at work and took a few quick snaps.

6/10. Digital zoom sucks. Way too much pixelation. Although, for composition, and technical aspects aside, I'd give it a 8/10. Love the way the sun lights up the clouds.

Great colours with the sky looking amazing.  I would have changed the framing to make it more interesting; the subject is pretty much in the dead centre.  The noise is only noticeable when zoomed in, so unless you are printing in a large format not too bad.
