Finally decided to see if I got myself a decent overclocker in terms of my FX 6300 that I have had for a couple years and right now I have the thing sitting stable at 1.34v - 4.2Ghz on an ASUS M5A97 R.2, not to bad I say and have yet to up the clock speed some more. (stays below 55c on a Hyper T4)

At it again I got a meager extra 50 mhz out my 4790K. If this could be added to the list. Please remind me if I am forgetting something I haven't posted in a while.

Get that cache up, it'll help score massively.

my cpu is probably one of the worst samples you can get, I don't care if it fries with 1.35V, I just want a speed above 4.0 GHz

cache is running at 3.8GHz with voltage on auto btw

?Mind to share some data I.m trying to OC my G3258 on a msi board, and i.s keeping wiping  loaded OC profile

I've tried to stress test it at 4.5GHz, but it fails after 40 minutes, so I had to dial it back a bit. Overall really happy with what the results that I've got.

My A8 6600K, according to Userbenchmark it is the faster out there. I haven't ran a stress test for more than 5 minutes due to me running my fans on full blast and I would prefer to sleep tonight. My thermal margin is around 4C, low but I am not going to run this 24/7 and I know I have air bubbles in my thermal paste so it could be a degree or two higher.

First off, sorry for the large image :P, didn't think about it being so large. I was testing this overclock last night, and since it worked, I thought I might as well post it as there seems to be a...severe lack of skylake CPUs showing up. I was able to overclock my 6600k to 4.6Ghz just using multiplier using around 1.325 volts. The temperatures do seem a little low, considering it's under a 550LC from antek which is comparable to a corsair H50. Really glad I was finally to figure out all the issues and so far, this overclock has been rock-solid. The aida-64 went on for 9 hours, 46 minutes.

Hello

I thought i might share my results as well, and as 1Revenger1 said, there aren't a lot of skylake results yet:)

I overclocked my 6600K to 4.7 Ghz with 1.312 volts with a maximum temperature of 58 degrees Celsius

Ran it for 4 hours in Realbench with no problems. Average core temperatures around 52 degrees celsius, with max of 58 degrees celsius.

http://postimg.org/image/nb8h2ivnn/

Ran it in Aida64 for 13 hours (stopped it because i had to use my computer). Average core temperatures around 48 degrees celsius, with max of 55 degrees celsius.

http://s18.postimg.org/5n759fr2h/Sk_rmbillede_26.png

I did also have it at 4.8 Ghz with 1.375 Volts, which did 4 hours of realbench without any issues, but only did 3,5 hours in aida before coming with an error. It didn't crash, but it wasn't stable either. So i decided on 4.7 Ghz with lower volts, as to prolong my cpus good health :)

Overall I'm very pleased, especially since it's my first time overclocking.

I also tried Asus auto overclocking, but that froze the computer at 4.5 Ghz, so i decided to do it manually. Good thing there are some good guides out on the good ol web :)

@D0nk i was looking over the spreadsheet and was actually surprised at the lack of overclocking of the 6600k as im new to overclocking and currently have mine OC to 4.7 but couldnt get my OC to hold stable for more than 20 minutes at 4.8 without aida throwing an error, what kind of cooling are you using, im using a NIC5 with it slowed way down so i cant hear it back fan exhaust front fan intake and top fan exhaust and holding about 52 degrees i beleive ill run mine again and drop my voltage because i didnt really mess with that at all i think im sitting on 1.335 @ 4.7 ghz ram is only pushed to 3200 right now but may try and push it a little more.

edit: also realbench would BSOD my computer with my 4.8 @ 1.335 not really comfortable pushing my voltage anymore than that for .1 OC.

If you agree with my advice/Recommendation please give me a thumbs up. Thank you

I can hit 4.6 at 1.4 volts but dont want to Cpu stays at 60C. I dont know if 1.4 would hut it for 247 use or not just playing it safe.  I am using a custom water cooling loop for the cpu and GPU.

@john chambers your holding 60c idle with a 4.5 OC and watercooling? im running a tower cooler and idle at 22 with a 4.7 and all fans running at minimum, and dont exceed 55 under full load? something doesnt seem right there imo?
