Valhalla - Not exactly a build lob[upgrade plans]

Usage :

This machine is now my primary machine. Last year it replaced my school laptop and I use it for work and gaming since.

 

Specs:

CPU : Intel Core i5-4670k@4.4GHz

CPU Cooler : Corsair H100i w/ stock fans;

GPU : Evga GTX780 w/ ACX Cooler

MB : Asus Maximus VI Formula

RAM : Corsair Vengence Black 8gb CL10

PSU : Corsair RM850

Case : Fractal Design Define XL R2

Storage :

Intel SSD520 120GB (System drive)

WD Scorpio Black 750GB 2.5 (Program Files, Steam, etc.)

Crucial MX100 512GB

 

Backup:

I don't really care about the OS. All my work files are stored on my Dropbox account.

 

Upgares:

I'm thinking about custom waterloop that would include my CPU and GPU. I plan on having two 280mm rads, Swiftech CPU block, clear EK GPU fullcover block and probably some reservoir/pump combo. I was checking out the Monsoon Series Two D5 Premium Dual 5.25 or maybe EK Water Blocks EK-BAY RES D5.

I already order new SSD - Crucial MX100 512GB and after my next paycheck I'll order new RAM kit and place the stick I have into my NAS build.

 

History:

Well I got through quite a lot of CPUs with my first MB (Asus Z87-Deluxe). All of them was RMA, but I still have the MB and I had to buy a new one. The next MB was the Asus Z87i-PRO which is now in my NAS (this was the craziest looking thing you could put in this case - few photos coming next). This MB was finally replaced with the Maximus VI Formula. The next thing I changed alot is the storage (in some photos you can see there is alot of different drives). Now I have only 2 drives and I plan on going to SSD only so I'll have place for the second rad. I also changed the power supply - the original one was Fractel Desigl Tesla 1000W which I got in bundle with the case. I changed this one because it wasn't modular.

yeah it's evga gtx 780 w/ acx cooler (not overclocked)
