Hi!

GREAT build! I am deeply inspired! I have a few questions before running off and buying parts for a (very) similar build! ;)

  • What fittings are you using?
  • What dimensions are your tubes?
  • Did you screw the Easy and Hard bench together, or was there any other way you stuck them together? :)

Hoping for a reply, thank you! :)

Case: Bitfenix Prodigy Svart, modded w/ window. CPU: Intel i7 3770k CPU-cooling: H100 w/ 2x Corsair SP120 GPU: Asus GTX690 RAM: Corsair Vengence 2x8GB 1666MHz Mobo: Asus P8Z77-I Deluxe Play: SC2+CS:GO Misc: Sennheiser PC350SE, Asus Xonar U7, Qpad 5k, CM storm quickfire TK. Do You care? Probably not ;)

I'm using EK CSQ Fittings

The dimensions of the tubing is 3/8 ID x 1/2 OD

And the Hard bench just sits ontop of the Easy bench using padded feet, it doesn't move due to the grip of the feet :)

End of Life

Sadly this build has reached it's end of life, it's dismantled and pars have been sold and used in my newest build.

It was one of my favorite builds to date, and one of the best performing machines i've owned.

The problem with a bench this big, is that it is BIG. Not only is it massive but an open bench, on water or not creates a ton of dust, i was cleaning my desk every 2 days because of the dust buildup.

Just wasn't practical in my area.

Just want to thank everyone for the positive & negative comments throughout the build,m it helped me shape the build in a way that i loved it and hopefully others did too.

Id upload a photo of the current state, but it won;t do this buildlog any justice to see it in shambles :(

Anyway, off to my new build. ;)

The dust part was sort of expected, oh well it was great while it lasted and your new rig is looking to be amazing too :). Also is that why you went with a closed, small case for it? (exactly the opposite).

Great build! Very interesting. If you do not mind me asking, how much was it to ship the easy v3 here? (currently looking at a mini v1 build)

Thanks.

I'm so sorry. Macbook Air Mid 2013. shivers.

I live in the place where a GTX970 here costs as much as a GTX980 in the US.

I love everything about this except the colors, because I like this so much though I'm just going to ignore the red/black theme that I normally hate on principle.
