Having WiFi issues with new Moto G

Hey there! I recently got a moto g and my WiFi keeps freezing up.

It remains connceted but for a brief amount of time the internet stops working completely... This has been very annoying especially while messaging. I'm having no issues with my other devices (iPad, nexus 7, windows laptop)

Any help?

if its "new" just return it for a new one, dont bother trying to fix it
