Using a laptop as a keyboard for a Desktop

Hi there guys,

 

Here is my issue. My stupid retarded Corsair K90 just died on me out of no where when I restarted my PC. 

So since I have a few laptops laying around I though on using the laptop as a keyboard for the desktop pc.

 

I have it working with Teamviewer but the lag and the amount of key presses not communicated is huge in games. What I mean is that teamviewer manages to send like a key press like 2 times in a second. Pretty much half the times I press a key nothing happens.

 

So I was looking for something better while I wait for my temporary keyboard that I borrowed to a friend. (about 3 days wait)

 

Do you guys know of any software that allows you to use your laptop as a keyboard only? Without the video feed, just keyboard for best performance.

LOOL that is not the point, I dont want to destroy a 6 month old laptop XD

 

They are all working. The thing is using the laptop on, working but having his keyboard controlling my desktop.
