Cooler Master Novatouch TKL Topre Keyboard [It's finally here!]

NCIX: http://bit.ly/1p5WMKF

Amazon: http://geni.us/46zK

My first experience with Topre keyswitches is with the Novatouch TKL. I didn't think I was going to like it, but I ended up quite surprised!

Linus, the pricing and discussing link is dirrecting us to the pricing link(ncix) instead of "pricing and discussing" (ncix link in LTT forum).

Keys taken away from normal keyboards and features that allow cheating by gamers = no buy for me.  Sorry Cooler Master.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

I'm a firm believer if you need hardware enhancements to get an edge in a game, you completely suck at that game.

Is there a manufacturer that makes a matched numpad for their 10keyless, other than this atrocity? Seriously, this thing looks worse than post op Lindsay Lohan.

LOL it's private now. I managed to watch that before it had gone private. And there were already a bunch of comments arguing about the micro usb vs mini usb in there..

Damn. I opened the video to watch it and forgot. When I returned I refreshed the page and its gone.

Loepold makes very nice ones.

This is the FC700R:

and this is the numpad, not sure of the model to be honest:

but they use the same width as the keyboard and matching body/keycap colors. I know they're available in white, black and grey.

^ The Leopolds have excellent build quality, but one thing to watch out for -- all except the NEWEST Leopold numpads send regular keyboard scan codes, not numpad scan codes. This can be an issue if you want to remap keys on your keyboard or numpad, because any number key you remap will be changed on both your keyboard and numpad. Current units have fixed this problem, but it's not clear whether this batch has reached the US yet -- any Leopold numpads you buy from US retailers should be assumed to have this issue.

So, nobody managed to catch the price on the NCIX page before it went down?

Thats kinda crazy for the numpads. Id rather have the opposite, numpad codes on the num row.
