Basically no difference between NF-F12 IP67 and IP52?

trama09

So is there a difference between these two fans besides that useless (to me) feature?

The first one has better ingress protection, doesn't really make the difference.

There is no difference between the fans other than the higher dust/water resistance rating.

this

67 variation has better water/dust proofing, that is all.

Pretty much of no use to a standard consumer

can not compare industrial standards to general consumer needs. industrial

applications may call for IP67 and using IP52 could/will lead to premature

failure therefore causing other expenses not considered. noctua didn't build

these for the PC market, the PC user just wants a different color for the

famed fans of choice.
