I've seen some product has Hardware canuck's "Damn good reward" logo on the product page. It would be funny if Cooler master put the "doesn't suck award" logo on the V650 page :P. Let's continue this series Linus, it is good.

Award changed from the "Better than useless award"?

Or is that a different type of achievement?

The OEM for this unit is Enhance Electronics. They are also an OEM for Silverstone and such.

Seems like a ok product, but still pretty expensive. Sadly that you don't have the outstanding beQuiet Straight Power E9 PSU's in North America. They also have Japanese Capacitors, 5 Year warranty but also an astonishing low noise level and all this für 60% of the price of the Coolermaster.

But all in all, I like your series "Does not Suck".

Really liking the idea behind a "does not suck" series. There are millions of reviews of the top end components but if I'm building a budget rig (or even just an in-budget rig) then none of that stuff is relevant.

"Does not suck" Award can be very useful for many people actually  buy some entry/ mid entry stuff, and not the high end products like AX1500i that only a few people will buy. I like it! Also i don't share the videos to my friends because none of them cares :\

I'd rather see stuff that is in a particular price range, but stands out due to some feature. So, basically stuff that avoids the "does not suck" award amongst things that win that award.

I still like this series though.

I quite like this series. Hopefully it becomes popular enough to warrant a product endorsement sticker.

On the topic of great RMA systems, has anyone else dealt with nintendo's product support?

I once bricked a Wii, and the repair only cost 27 pounds, with shipping covered both ways.

http://nintendoservicecentre.co.uk/ is the site, if you haven't heard of it.

I would really like to see more of this series.  It is helpful for budget builds and what is out on the budget-friendly market.

Awesome editing on the video too.

This PSU sounds like a good option for any Node 304 builds, thanks for pointing that out Linus.

Personally I would prefer a more professional sounding name for these videos but Linus seems to thrive on immaturity now days so what ever.  I will say this Linus, you won't find me recommending a video if it would be too embarrassing so please make an effort to hide your want of propriety in review videos especially.  This one was fine but like I said the name had me cringing in anticipation of some crass remark the whole video.

I definitely like this idea by Linus for these series of videos.  As for the Cooler Master psu I understand that they are offering good value in a way to customers in case the psu dies but if it doesn't you just paid $100 plus tax for a psu that is 650 watts and you can get for much cheaper than this and not be too worried it will break down.  I have gotten good Antec and XFX psus for a fair bit less and expected them to last and they have.  Also if this Cooler Master psu takes out other hardware if it breaks does Cooler Master help in covering the cost of damage to those items?  No nor would I expect them to.  Anyway my point is I will still try to get the best psu I can get for the best price I can get and I think I can do better than $100 plus tax and Cooler Master.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

This will be a great series of reviews. I not sure who else I could share this with, that's the only reason. I'm not embarrassed otherwise I wouldn't have a bought a T-Shirt (which I'm still waiting for , long way to Australia). My bro- in law asked me about building him a budget system in a few months so these reviews will come in handy with the latest hardware available.
