A few days ago he uploaded a video about creating realistic puddles on street, thought your render was/might have been a variation on the outcome of the video, but I guess it was just coincidence.

The glass is laying on the image so a magnification would be unrealistic.

If there is space between the glass and the object it magnifies

Of course it is not my creation but I 3D printed the Blender logo for my key ring.
