What parts should i upgrade?

So i have this setup:

CPU: Core i3-3220

GPU: Gigabyte GTX 650 1gb

RAM: 8GB DDR3 1333

Motherboard: Gigabyte H61M-DS2H

PSU: came with the case and is 450w, couldn't find much detailes of it online but both the case and the psu together cost 52$

So recently i upgraded to windows 64 bit and added 4 more ram because that's what  i felt needed an upgrade but now i could use another upgrade, i currently have 100$ but after a while i could get up to maybe 200 or 250$.

Any specific PSU  you guys can recomand?

Well in the psu world the companies is trust are corsair, xfx, seasonic, evga, be quiet and antec. I recommend at least 500watts and once that is done it is safe to upgrade the rest of your system, first on the list should be the graphics card, once that is done you can get a new cpu and motherboard, those two are always tied together so it will be expensive but remember that your gpu should always be the most expensive part of your system, that normally stands true for editors and gamers.

Btw when you get your gpu watch out for the length i have no clue about how long your case is, just shove a 30cm ruler into it and see how long of a gpu you can have, the longest gpus which have three fans are about 310cm so thats the highest you really need to have.

Just suggest a retailer that you are likely to use and i or one of the other members will throw a few links up to power supplies

Thanks for the help.. it's just that i never manually built or upgraded a computer before, and a PSU looks like a complicated thing to replace, are you sure that PSU's that come with a case are removable and that new PSU's will work with that? My case is about a micro ATX mini tower..

Corsair or EVGA should be good.. or seasonic.. whatever is cheaper

Replacing a PSU is pretty simple, its usually just unplug the cables and remove a few screws.

Corsair CX500M is your best choice. I don't know where you are from but in US it costs $34.99

After that, my suggestion is to change your GPU. Maybe a 270X.

most likely i would get the second GPU as it is cheaper.

I don't really think i need a 600w PSU, i rather stick to the new generation nvidia cards that take less power(750 ti or wait for 860), and buy a cheaper 500w PSU

A decent 500W PSU will do.

But what some are saying here is also very important, not having a good case with decent airflow will kill your new components. Just keep that in mind. And please don't buy a case with a PSU, unless it is like Silverstone.

Yes temps only, and dust if any...keep it clean and you're fine.

I would upgrade the PSU than GPU for gaming...if you do video editing and other CPU demanding task get a core i5 that fit your motherboard socket.

Yeah! temps. A friend of mine had a prebuilt system, and after adding a better gpu.....well the gpu died because it was runnning aroun 80°C in windows...

But if your temps are fine, then don't worry about that. Also: What are your temps? Although the i3 should be fine in almost every scenario, only a GPU upgrade could possibly have a heat output that COULD be dangerously high for a badly ventilated case.

Not saying your case has bad airflow (dont know what you have). Just sayin!

So using Speccy, my i3 is 31-33C, the 650 is 27C and the hard drive is 31C, the motherboard is 28C

the core specific temps are 27-30 but sometimes jump to 35C for the first core, and a stable 35C on the second core, all of these, on basic web browsing and such.

that's actually good idle temps, but you should run a game and look at max temps afterwards. for gpu anything below 80°C is fine and for CPU kinda depends but similar, I try to go for less than 70°C, but 75°C is also fine. Those temps should be really heavy load though.

I've ran Far Cry 3 and pushed it to Ultra settings and i got max 40C on core 1 and max 47C on core 2 of the CPU, the GPU went up to 50C max.
