[Build Log] Kwongger's Golden Circuits ~an Elegant, NZXT h440 Build~

Kwongger's Golden Circuits - H440 Build

After a breif, underwhelming stint with AMD CPU's, I am retreating from the Dark Side, back to the Order of the Jedi.

This will not be a rapidly moving build log, I am a High School Student, and will also be moving 1,500km over the summer :thumb:

Unfortunately, I'll be using an AMD FX-8320 and an AsRock 990fx Killer until I can order the 4690 and Sabertooth...

Modding Plans:

(Not in order!)

My mods won't be too extensive, just enough to make this case look sexy as hell.

1- Gold fan grills :D

2- Add Motherboard Lighting

3- Paint Gold Circuitry on the PSU Cover

4- White Plastidip Radiators

5- Add cool paintjob to sidepanels, front and back.  Most likely a tron, circuit work type theme.

6- Cover the spaces in the back panel where the I/O lights flood in a bit.

7- White Plastidip GPU Casing (It's Black now)

8- Add GOLD Case feet!

Let me know if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions!

Case and LED's Arrive tonight!  I am going to use and AMD 8320 until I move.  I don't want to risk a $250 board during the move. I'll slowly, but surely aquire the rest of the parts.  I am considering just picking up a Nvidia GTX 780 instead of SLI.  I haven't had experience with SLI, and I see that most experts don't reccomend it.  I do like the concept of paying periodically for upgrades, but I think I may just save up.

Let's here the long story

I'll assume you're talking about the move :D.   My Father got a Job offer in Oceanside, CA.  I am currently in Vail, CO.   The offer is from an old apprentice of his and is too good to pass up.  So... off we go!  I definitely won't miss the snow.  I'll be able to paint most of the year now  :D

GRANDE PICTURES!!!!

I'll be painting a SMALL bit of stuff tonight, mostly highlights.

But, first, I want to say I am glad that I moved the build log here from Overclock.net.  MUCH better reception and community in general!

I am in the process of building NOW :D

I am waiting for the LED's to arrive (UPS comes later than FedEx) and MIGHT be painting vents tommorow, the weather isn't great.  <_<

I need to get a design for the tron stuff and have it printed at a print shop (grande paper :D), but I am not sure I want to paint this case... It is BEAUTIFUL.  Even better in person.

Pics of the current state will be uploaded in ~6hrs.
