H100 Compatibility Thread

Helltech

I plan on making a thread listing the best cases, along with prices, that have compatibility for H100, as that seems to be the most asked question on these forums. Anyone wants to help out and start, that would be great. Please tell me where and how it fits in the case, rear, top, bottom, front, push/pull, push or pull, etc.

We are only going to bother with decent cases that are actually good.

Correct me if i'm wrong but I feel like the H100 would work in any case with two 120mm fan mounts beside each other relatively close to the cpu.

@youngmanmatt its not about having two fan mounts next to eachother. its about having the proper spacing between the fan mounts

And here is something i have always pondered. On an antec 1100 the drive cages each have a space to mount a 120 mm fan. So (maybe with a tiny bit of modding) could you potentially mount an h100i using those two fan mounts? I think it would look SO clean and simple if so.

Depends on where there fan mounts are, honestly. How much spacing there is between them and other components.

With the NZXT Switch 810, it can also be mounted in push/pull on the bottom of the case if you remove 1 HDD cage or in the front if you remove both! :)

The NZXT Phantom 820 has the exact same mounting potential as the Switch.

It reaches that far? I've never seen a picture of it.

I can confirm the H100/H100i works perfectly fine with a

through the front of the case without modding.

Fractal Design Arc Mini push/pull in roof (Corsair Platinums will touch lower

fan set) just fine with lo-pro modules, late-model ripjaws, and vengeance.

but push or pull H100 or H100i fits with no side-effects.

yes you ditch the rear fan on push/pull (no side-effect in doing so) put that

fan in the floor or front panel.

I know I forgot a lot. Its a community effort. There are a plethora of cases that fit it.

Should add the Corsair C70 as well since Linus and Slick uses that case for their thermal testing.

I just confirmed that the H100 fits in 4U NorcoTek cases with a 120mm fanwall. But only push or push/pull, not pull. The fan spacing is ~20mm on the fanwall and 15mm on the H100.

Cases:

NorcoTek RPC-470

NorcoTek RPC-4224

NorcoTek RPC-4220

NorcoTek RPC-4216

NorcoTek RPC-4164

NorcoTek RPC-4116

NorcoTek RPC-4020
