2014 Water cooled tri sli rig w/4k display

Edvin1984

Hey Guys,

Thought I share my build with you all, and let you know of the joys and head aches with this build. I initially was going to just use a Corsair H105, but the rattle from the pump (which was defective not the norm) and the tornado sounding Tri SLI 780's Classy drove me nuts. I went with EK in this build, as some components were left overs from previous tear downs. The EK pump/res combo I got was horrible and I think I just got a bad apple here. It leaked from every end possible, and I took it apart a few times, and use plumber sealant to just stop the leaks from coming. I think the treading where the compressions were that I picked are just a toch ot large. It leaked on the inlet and bottom of the tube. Long story short I am more than happy with how things have turned out, and happy to share some of my results and pictures of the build. Please feel free to ask questions, make comments, call me names (thats what the internet is for right ;-) haha) enjoy. I have attached a screen shot of my temps after running 3D mark 11, and my house A/C was set at 77F.

In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only a GTX 1080, just a single 1080, where my glorious PC once stood....

For that is all I need, For the Emperor of Man, Jen-Hsun Huang, protects. We march for Nvidia, and we shall know no fear!

Yeah, I am still looking into making a cover, so you cant look into the bottom portion of the case. I would like to add some lighting in there maybe some light white LED on top. Need to tidy up the GPU wirinng and tweak my OC's some more as what else is one to do with a PC like this lol.

Looks great....I'm debating on throwing in a 3rd 780Ti into my build, but still playing around with Rad configs ;) and I only run 1440p so a 3rd isnt necessary....

If anything try UV v LED...I have one LED, other than the RIVE mobo...in my XSPC Rez.....

Also, howdo you like that Evga PSU....havnt heard a lot of great reviews or feedback and noticed they're being flogged on the cheap everywhere.....like the looks of the new AX1500i ;)

Also, what OC on the CPU with load vcore and temps?

Here's my 900D with some UV highlites and very little LED (just the Raz and fron Fan Controller)....very nice set up btw ;)

I

m presently running 2 x XSPC EX 360's (120.6) top n bottom, but am going to replace the top with a full size 480 and add another 240 below ;) Fun aint it ;)

@rjbarker yeah that is a cool looking rig. I am super happy with them temps and all. Right now all I am looking to do is get some combs for the gpu wire work, whie LED, and make a cover for the bottom so you cant see the PSU. It has over all been a great experience, but sadly Nvidia drivers suck for 4k as of now. Honestly, its impossible to play the screen is on this super tear rampage, and it does not do that on 1440p. I am using the latest Beta drivers, so hopefully down the road things get better.

Also, 3x Ti's was going to be my initial set up, but got one 780 out of pocket and rest were gifts from friends and family for my birthday. The system took a life from its own from there lol... now downloading titanfall to see how it runs on one card @4kUncompressedPorn.
