Nice mate. 2011 rigs are just amazing. And a Corsair and ASUS build, much like mine. very nice.
Great choice in case too.
It does surprise me you have a HDD. It isn't 1999. All SSD builds the new thing. judging from the rest of the system it shouldn't be to much of a stretch.

I hope you push that CPU hard and I would hope you try and push that RAM to 2133Mhz, you do have a better IMC than me, so chances are you can get it.

CORSAIR RIPPER: AMD 3970X - 3080TI & 2080TI - 64GB Ram - 2.5TB NVME SSD's - 35" G-Sync 120hz 1440P
MFB (Mining/Folding/Boinc): AMD 1600 - 3080 & 1080Ti - 16GB Ram - 240GB SSD
Dell OPTIPLEX:  Intel i5 6500 - 8GB Ram - 256GB SSD

My bad :P it's 4960X haha.

So overkill on the CPU and so much average on the storage and the ram...

I might drop down the HDD and replace another SSD .

Nope, this monitor is being in the market for quite a while.

That monitor purpose is to test system, this machine ain't mine. Build for a friend of mine, he is using BenQ XL monitor with 144 hz.

It's fake like LG and Asus ones. You can actually see it's fakeness if you look closely.  B)

3 graphics cards is always a good thing. And I love pictures of lots of pretty fittings.

SSD's are still not very good for mass storage. Not much point in storing movies and songs on an SSD

Yes but on a build this high end the OS and major programs really should be on an SSD. The speed increase in boot and load times is worth it, solid state is not yet competitive on mass storage (if it ever will be) but for OS/Programs/Games its the only way to go (IMHO). Realistically he should look at a 120/240 SSD (Samsung Evo or 840 Pro) and a 1-2 Tb HDD for storage. Otherwise this is a great overkill build, can't wait to see how it turns out.

to buy that kind of hardware I would have to put my house on mortgage... damn.

I hope it turns out well built and good looking. Not just another overkill pc.

I'll stick around to see ;)
