can i fit a am3 cooler on a am3+ socket?

as the title says im in a kind of a blind zone with this topic and im currently looking for a cpu cooler and do mot know much about am3 socket type

Yes it can. I have an am3 socket cooler on my am3+ socket CPU.

Life is pain. Anyone who says any different is either selling something or the government.

yes, am3+ doesnt have the side brackets to increase cooling and to add more on to the motherboard, there is no difference with the socket or cooling bracket

Yes all AMD sockets are compatible with each other. Probably can go back to the 939 scokets if u wanted to

AMD has been using the same CPU heat sink mount design for awhile it will work
