it does, but sandy-e has 6 cores so it needs more power and takes a fair bit more cooling.

I'm going to be getting one of their little brothers (the 9800GT) so I might do some kind of benchmarks with it. Not entirely sure though.

I had a 9800GT at one point, but the seller was misleading and it was a DDR2 version not GDDR3 as advertised

 

it was better than the 7300GS 256mb it replaced though:)

CX430 should do just fine

 

My brother uses an FX8320 @ 4.5 (1.4v) and a 7770 at mega voltage / clock and runs fine on a CX430.

 

I think I could add my bios modded 7950 (0.962 vcore / 900 clock) and it'd still run.

CX430 should do just fine

I think I could add my bios modded 7950 (0.962 vcore / 900 clock) and it'd still run.

nope. i see why you think that, because i thought that too.  fatal1ty is a pro gamer. he just moved ship after abit sank and put his name on asrock boards

i still have a zotac 9800gtx lying around here, died once on me, put it in the oven; gave it to a friend, died again in his pc; again threw it in the oven; worked; when he got a new card i took mine back and tried hybrid physx with my 7870; on a 530watt bequiet psu; but it was working flawlessly (well as flawless as hacked together physx can be )

but i would never use it seriously in a modern system;

It's sadly the 512mb version of the card, but for £47, ohgad what a good deal.
