Fractal Design Node 804

NCIX: http://bit.ly/1mhPq03

Amazon: http://georiot.co/2UMt

Fractal Design's Node 804 is a surprisingly thoughtful re-imagining of a case category that I thought was already pretty mature. The front bezel in particular makes use of what would normally be wasted space in a way that I think is incredibly cool.

If it had sound dampening material i'd jump on it. Too bad there are not very many silent enclosures out there.

More noise dampening foam would be nice if they actually expect a user to fill it up with drives. I also wish installing drives was a bit easier especially given the fact that this case is pretty storage oriented.

This is a much more elegant looking case than what either corsair or CM is offering right now.

Definitely my favorite µATX case of all time. That said, I'm a Fractal Design fanatic and use their cases exclusively in my builds (currently rocking two Define R4s and one Node 605).

Where is the eject button for the slimline optical drive? Or, at the very least, an "extension" to the outside of the panel with a little plunger or something of the sort on the inside of the panel to press the eject button on the physical drive itself?

Are you relegated to ejecting through the O/S only??

it does seem like you could remove the drive cages and have the radiator there instead

a custom loop in that case would be pretty sweet

Been pumped for this case! The watercooling possibilities are just amazing in such a small form factor!

I think it's space inefficient. If you plan to fill it with hard drives, then yes, it's gonna be great, but for your typcial 2-3 drives, this is just a huge box with a µATX mobo and an empty space in the back.

who cares...
