Tyreal - From a 540 To a water cooled 760T

xToFxREAPER

@Analog I had a feeling you would like this even though its not finished :)

How I can I not? It looks pretty sweet even without the water cooling block on the second graphics card. Great job dude! ;)

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 - 3900x @ 4.4GHz with a Custom Loop | MBO: ASUS Crosshair VI Extreme | RAM: 4x4GB Apacer 2666MHz overclocked to 3933MHz with OCZ Reaper HPC Heatsinks | GPU: PowerColor Red Devil 6900XT | SSDs: Intel 660P 512GB SSD and Intel 660P 1TB SSD | HDD: 2x WD Black 6TB and Seagate Backup Plus 8TB External Drive | PSU: Corsair RM1000i | Case: Cooler Master C700P Black Edition | Build Log: here

Thanks, its a little weird having only one card on water but it hopefully wont be to long and ill have the second card added into the loop. i may add a single 140mm rad on the rear exhaust for a little extra cooling power, seems the pump in the h320 has some surprising power in it.

I'm not sure that there is much of a point of adding extra cooling surface, you already have plenty... and it's going to be overcrowded if you know what I mean. Though, you should definitely consider buying some sleeved extensions for those PSU cables. Something with yellow and gun-metal gray would look stunning!   :)

Thats actually the plan for the cables :) got a few on order actually lol if i do another rad im actually gonna mount it on the outside of the back of the case where its hidden so itll just be  a small amount of extra tubing but your probably right i already have a ton of cooling as it

Edit: So the title liquid gold that was a running joke, that actual name for this build is Tyrael, some will understand the reference others wont and if you do.. can you understand why i chose it?

@Analog, finally got finished work and was able to finish cleaning up my desk, i figured while i was at it i finally killed the red led on the sound card (didnt really kill it just covered it with electrical tape) took the side panel off the case and took a few quick pics of the setup, sadly all the good cameras are in Europe with my family so i had to use my phone :/ either way here you go :) oh and theres a watch dogs poster i have waiting to be hung to fill some of the empty space, youll see what i mean lol ;)

I love the look of those Lighting 780s so much   nice build!

Thanks :) i have been a huge fan of the lightning series since the 580 lightning extreme and they got soo damn cool with the 780 i couldnt resist getting two. just a shame i couldnt get both on water at the same time the second block is gonna be at least 3 weeks unless i get really lucky

p.s i did a small setup tour in the post above yours if you didnt notice it, kinda picture heavy so i hid them in a spoiler

It looks great @xToFxREAPER, really great! Your entire setup is amazing! :) One last thing though, it would be even better if you cover that red post LED on the motherboard with some black electrical tape. I have done the same to my Rampage IV Gene and it looks so much better.

its just a matter of taking your time and slowly stepping it up, i dropped it to 4.6ghz to allow a bit of headroom for the gpu's, if i have enough headroom after i add the second card to the loop im going to bump it back up, i posted a small update and desk tour in post 35 of this thread as well if you didnt see it

Question, how did you manage to properly bleed the unit to operate silently? I bought an H320 and I was expanding it. Literally spent hours in the span of several days trying to, but it seemed to always make a gurgling noise. So now I'm debating if I should try again with the replacement that Swiftech is sending me. May I please have your expertise on the matter?

Would you say adding a reservoir made the bleeding process much easier? I'm planning on using the block/pump in a Silverstone FT03, and I'm considering adding a res to ease the process. Thoughts?

yeah i would say far easier cause there is far more extra coolant to fill what would be air pockets
