Outlook 2013 data lost after PC refresh Windows 8.1

Hey guys,

I'm at my grandma's house and she asked me if I could help her with a problem she had with Outlook 2013. She has a nice HP laptop with Windows 8.1, but had some troubles and refreshed Windows (back to Win8). The problem is she "lost" her Outlook data; every email from the beginning till the refresh has dissappeared. I tried to find the old files to re-import them into outlook, but I could not find them. I've tried to follow these steps, but there is no "C:\windows.old".

Can someone please help me out?

@Wi RoZ: Check the user's Local AppData folder. What was the email account set up? IMAP, POP3, Exchange, Exchange ActiveSync?

It is a POP3 account. Couldn't find the right files in the appdata folders

It should be in C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook then one of the .pst files.

Already checked that, but it didn't contain the missing files.
