I can't find the firmware update for the 01G-P3-1361-KR

(GTX 460 1GB GDDR5 FPB)

Could anybody look for it? I'm not having any luck.

Maybe call evga?

I'd suggest the 750ti perhaps.  I don't know what 460s go for where you are, but 2 would go for about $110 CAD here (Toronto area). You might be able to get more if you sold them individually (60-70 each?)  You could save a little more and put the cash towards the 750ti, which has 640 cuda cores, and a much higher clock speed. Sadly you lose SLI compatibility with the 750ti though.  I know SLI looks beast, I love it in my system, but a more powerful single card is always better, as you know. That's just MHO tho.

I think there are waterblocks available for the 750ti too.

Ueueeugeghh...

I guarantee that your problems will be solved if you call them. @Lord Pantaloons can attest to that

How much can you sell them for? That decides the gpu

I'd say R7 265 or r9 280 or 760 if it's on sale

sounds good to me too if you have the cash to work with.  all three of those options enable multi-GPU configs for future upgrades.  760 is a big upgrade over the 750ti - you nearly double the cuda cores. r9 280 is a real value too.

Don't get some new graphics card. It will just take the uniqueness out and the system will fall into the crowd of mainstream pcs

I'm interested in EVGA's 4GB 760.

Would an AMD card be ok if I cheaped out?

Well, freesync is for all cards since it was introduced in the vesa standard.

They didn't actually release it, they just showed off a technology that laptops have had for a while and then convinced VESA to introduce it into displayport.

I would say either the gigabyte because of the 3 fans or Asus because of the impeller fan to let less dust stay in the card and for improved cooling. Bit after that it is just do you want some Asus red in your system or stealthy back with gigabyte. :)

Gigabyte windforce coolers are average performers and are loud avoid them, more fans doesn't mean better.

Ok. Performance over looks & cooling.

Let me fix the question, do any of them perform better than 760?

R9 280x do perform (most if the time) better because of the 3 gb of video memory And because of the wider memory bus.
