He want's to start gaming and I just recently upgraded my computer so have some 12-18 month old parts lying around from when I bought them

CPU: AMD 4300

Cooler: CM Hyper 212 evo

GPU: Sapphire HD 7950

also have a case and some hard drives somewhere too

just need tips for a good bang for your buck motherboard and ram basically, and is it worth getting an entry level SSD?

talking from experience, 32 gigs just isn't enough.

64GB SSD for Windows 7/8 is not enough either. Id go with a 120GB Samsung 840 EVO. Best bang for your buck SSD in my opinion

Live in Australia, would be shopping from pccasegear

budget, probably 400ish, maybe bit more if it gave a significant increase in performance, but he would rather as cheap as possible before it really starts to affect performance
