Intel xeon or I7

which one has better stats all around and are all together better cpu's

i7 for everything. Xeons are server grade and are good when you

1. don't need onboard graphics

2. need a cheaper CPU

3. ECC memory option

Depends applications and what XEON/I7 we are talking about

They're made for different things. Xeons are more for servers and professional applications such as 3D modeling, or video editing. i7s are still made for professional apps, but are more geared towards the consumer and have better support for applications such as games. If you don't know why you need a Xeon, you don't need a Xeon. i7s are better for gaming/editing hybrid rigs. Xeons are better for strict professional environments.

Xeons last longer and support more prosumer Feature set.also no igpu or overclocking other than that they are identical to i7s

Xeons just go through the same binning procedures, they dont live any longer.

Same binning but they are made to run 24/7 at their rated speed. With regular usage it will last longer.
