How do people get this kind of money?!

I'd remove the soundcard, go for the G45 Gaming and get a better CPU cooler. Also, go for a 600W PSU, 850W is overkill

EDIT: Also, I'd go for a single 500GB SSD and then spend what you save on a 2TB hard drive instead. Could be useful if you're editing.

Why 2 ssds, the aio, and such a large case?

The 780 Ti is a bad value. I'd suggets getting the 780 or 290 instead.

The sound card is unnecessary. See how it goes without getting something like an external amp before deciding on whether or not to get one.

I have an LG optical drive it is noisy as hell might wanna swap this for a Liteon/Samsung. But I guess my optical drive is just damaged or smth.

It's probably just damaged unless you're using it to burn something.

Everything looks solid here. Only thing I would do is switch out the Kingston RAM for G.Skill's. Will perform a tad better, and looks better IMO.

Looks much better. Yeah, it should do. If you're really fussed about audio quality, then an external AMP and DAC  would be the way to go.

The only thing I would personally change would be the monitor. Although it looks nice, the stand looks flimsy as hell. I'd personally go for one of these, but they don't have vesa mounts, so that's a downside.

1866MHz G.Skill will perform no better than 1866MHz Kingston. Looks are up to personal tastes though

There are other factors than just the MHz. And I was only talking about this for the OP's price point.

i updated it, resulting in 1 ssd and went for a 2TB hdd instead. aio for look purposes and keep the cooling to a minimum. large case cause, why not?

the content i will be working on will be editing videos recorded of gameplays between 10-20 minutes long, editing videos captured on my DSLR (like vlogs and all that stuff) and of course, rendering the videos at a fast rate.

What do you mean by 'cooling to a minimum'?

Just be sure you want a large case--it can become impractical and a space-hog later on. It would also take more fans for the same amount of cooling in a larger case.

minecraft_spaaaace_pig_by_skydoesminecra

Are you planning to sli? If not, the psu is overkill. A decent 550w is already more than enough. If so, you'd need a different motherboard.

The seagate barracuda is cheaper and faster than the wd blue.

Why the fan controller?

Have you considered getting multiple displays? It's great for productivity.

Sorry for the late reply--the tab got buried under a other threads I've been meaning to respond to or have been waiting on for responses.

keeping the temperatures low as possible under load while rendering or gaming. i decided to change the case, as the air 540 popped up in my head and looks better imo.

possible in the future i will be adding on another graphics card, will the current psu be fine for headroom in the future? what motherboard would you suggest to support sli for this instance?

is a fan controller necessary on the h100i or just leave a fan controller out? and i already have a monitor spare, so i could use that :)

i updated the rig, feedback is appreciated and highlight any changed you would make :)

How low are you shooting for your temps?

Just so you know, the Air 540 doesn't have that many bays for drives.

The motherboard is enough for sli but the psu is stretching it.

A fan controller or fan splitters may be needed to control all your extra fans--why so many fans?

around 20-30c on idle and less than 60 under load. oh man, what case would you recommend for me to get?

will the AX860i be enough for headroom?

plan was to put 3 static pressure fans as intake on front, then 4 sp120 on the h100i for a push/pull config.

That's doable. Is noise at all an issue? The h100i + SP120's is pretty darn loud.

The ax860i is more than enough.

If I were you I'd go with something like this. the black for games the red for other date and files. ssd for boot and other crap. (the chassis and other stuff are just personal preference. 32gb ram is kinda over for most people but hey your decision).

That's doable. Is noise at all an issue? The h100i + SP120's is pretty darn loud.

The ax860i is more than enough.

i'd like it to be quiet, what would you recommend for silence? :o

I'd recommend something like this: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/3CAAp

You aren't going to be able to achieve silence without practically going passive.
