Graphics Card Upgrade ,Big one

so i finally saved enough money do didsh my 660Ti PE witch have done a really good jobe tel now and Go Big ,so my brother is taking off to the UK in a few days time, and i 'll give him around 600$, i don't know how much is that in £, and i have got two Graphics cards in minde , a GTX 780Ti kIngpIn , now i doubt it will fit in my budget, so if it wouldn't   GTX 780 ACX or Sapphire R9-290 ? thank you in advanced

Why don't you just get a cheaper 780ti like the MSI Gaming edition or Asus Direct CU2

If you live in US and you convert the money you will be able to get a GTX 770 4GB or a R9 290 4GB at most. If you are lucky maybe a GTX 780 on a good deal somewhere. You will be better off buying where you live probably.

Shrugs, not really an overclocker -  it comes with a pretty aggressive factory overclock that is within a few % of what people could push it too anyway from what the reviews say

 

Im blown away by the performance of mine, considering its price compared to other 780tis, it also runs the coolest (possible quietest too) and comsumes less power while only being a handful of frames behind more expensive options

Yeah, buy something in America and likely online. $600 US can get you any R9 290, almost any GTX 780, a few different R9 290X models and almost get you a 780 Ti. In other countries it's usually one manufacturer or the other which is decently priced. Comparably, they're usually $20 or so dollars more expensive. Now it's not a lot of money when you're spending over $500 on a graphics card, but it still is $20 dollars or so. So unless you can find a sale price over there, which you'll likely find a sale here in the states as well, for $600 bucks, you could get a high end GPU and another, or first, SSD or even a new computer case.

Zotac GTX 780 - At $473.33, this is about as cheap as it comes in any country.

Normally this helps on shipping costs and lets you buy it at the MSRP price. So if your brother cannot find a decent deal, I'd probably ask if he can try to do this. If he's there long enough.

pfft. there's hardly anywhere in the UK that sells decent GPUs. All he has to do is get one ordered in from a computer shop.
