Samsung 28" LED U28D590D vs ASUS 27" PA279Q

Would anyone be willing to share any thoughts on the difference between the Samsung 28" LED above and the infamous ASUS PA279Q http://amzn.to/QB5ocB is it only the 4K support and resolution? What about color accuracy, specs. Any experience comparing the two?

this is the ENTIRE point of the Samsung screen

 

the samsung is 4k so higher resoltuon (hard to drive for games too) - it is TN so lacks colour accuracy and viewing angles but is still decent for a TN

the asus is 1440p. so lower res but still twice 1080p and much easier to drive for games - PLS panel so much better colour and viewing angles

 

Unless you have a best computer I wouldnt bother with 4k

Your going to have trouble compairing a 4k 8 bit TN pannel to a 1440P 10 bit PLS pannel.

 

What are you going to use it for? You will need a lot of muscle to game on the samsung, and a bit less (still a lot) to game with the ASUS. For my money, I would go with the PA279Q

get the samsung 4k if its for gaming. get the asus for professional media work.
