My pc problem

My friend's pc, everything is plug in correctly, we even change the psu. mobo lights green, psu fan working fine, cpu heatsink's fan spins for a while then stops then turns on again anyway to fix this problem?

Could be ram.

Or the firewire,front usb, front audio.

 

But It could be something else please give the hardware configuration.

Full specs and more info would be good. Any beeps on startup?

 

Most boot problems are because of RAM, so you might want to try one stick at a time in different channels to make sure you don't have a dead stick or dead channel.

Yup yup. Try RAM first, then proceed with more headaches because something is loose or not plugged in, or mounted correctly.

Ram might be mounted incorrectly ,check power cables as well
