4.4GHz on my 2500K @1.3v which is pretty good, but any higher and I can't get past the windows boost logo, gone as high as 1.5v to try for even 4.5ghz and even then it won't boot.

Could be a bad chip or could be my mobo, I'd guess the latter.

Running 3.5ghz on my 930 d0. I should go back to stock since there is no reason why I need to be overclocked atm lol

I hit 5.1 ghz on my 8350, but I don't run it at that because the thermals were a bit insane.

i'm limited to a 4.4GHz usable overclock on my FX-8350. two reasons: 1. i have a Hyper 212 EVO, and 2. i was unfortunate to get a 990FXA-UD3 Rev3 board. i tried not too long ago to get it to run at 4.6GHz, but i ended up getting a much worse CineBench score (380-ish) than at 4.4 (~695).

Pretty sure you'd dim all of the street lights when you turn your rig on at 5.4+

Nope. But if I plug in anything else on the same circuit, it will blow the breaker. :)

Do you know what it's TDP is at that speed? I need to check my 3930k at 1.65v and see what the tdp is :q

At 1.45v it's really close to 300, so I'd imagine it's close to 450 since power efficiency goes out the window at that point

Once I'm above 1.6v I think my waterblock has a hard time dissipating the heat quick enough, because even with the 2 480 rads it still gets up there quite a bit in temps

4.5 GHz on my 4670k with 1.26 V that i was able to keep cool 50 and under when gaming but i put it down to 4.4 with 1.21 volts just to save the cpu a little and cut some heat wiothout losing performance.

Close to 3.9 on my Sempron at stock voltage, both as a regular single-core and unlocked dual-core. My highest ever was a 2.2GHz Celeron which I took to 5GHz at 2.3 or 2.4v. Killed the mobo, and couldn't validate it, since Windows got corrupted.
