I have a Fractal Design Define R4 Case and I am considering using strong magnets to mount my tube reservoir so I do not have to drill holes. Would these magnets affect my system?

YES! Definitely do not put strong magnets in or anywhere near your PC or other electronics.

If you're going to be installing a front rad you can get brackets that mount to the fan mounts on the rad or fans and then screw the res to that if you're not keen on drilling holes :)
