well our TV basically exploded...

so my dad is a electrical engineer so last night when one of the capacitors in our 42" Toshiba TV exploded, he knew exactly what is was. The TV came with the house and we have been in the house for about 4 years now so the warranty wont cover it. And to replace it will be expensive so were just gonna buy a new 44" most likely. lol

 

So at the moment we have the TV i use in my room down there. its only a 26" so it looks really small on our TV mount xD

Kind of sucks that modern electronics and televisions can't be repaired in a remotely cost effective manner. The thiner TVs get the more integrated their parts are.

I actually repaired my 26 (now a spare) a couple years after it broke. It was a common part as off brands tend to share common components with other manufacturers.

Lol, good riddance to it!!! Nah that kinda sucks, woulda been sorta funny to see.
