4770K temp 50-60 degree Celsius on idle. Random Chrome Crashes.

Hi! No I'm using Win 7 Professional. And I already saw the culprit it's  NvBackend.exe I guess it's an Nvdia thing according to my research but I still can't find a solution anywhere. 

the typical CPU resource utilization is about 0.0034% including both foreground and background operations, i dont think the nvbackend.exe is your problem hehe.

Yes I did tried reinstalling chrome but to no avail. Yes I already tried looking at it and now it shows that Nvbackend.exe is causing the high CPU loads. What do I have to do next?  

Make sure your windows is up to date and Nvbackend.exe is

It might be updating in the background and somehow using your cpu. I would try blocking geforce experience from startup using msconfig to see if it is the cause.

Wow that actually fixed it. But my problem now is, is nvidia still going to update? Since I blocked that .exe at the startup? I noticed that CPU kicks in again at 15% whenever I open Geforce experience. Is that normal?

Oh glad you fixed it. I am not sure if it will update but you could check the version periodically at the Geforce website (or use the Check update option in it which I am not sure if it exists as I don't have a Nvidia card): http://www.geforce.com/geforce-experience

 

It might be doing something in the background. If it is only during startup, its fine. If not, I would use Process Explorer to see what it is actually doing: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-ca/sysinternals/bb896653.aspx

But would need to wait for other users who are using Geforce Experience to tell you if theirs are the same. Sorry that I cannot help you on this.
