Ubuntu video drivers?

Go to solution Solved by Createinator,

Should I use the generic video drivers in Ubuntu or should i try installing official AMD drivers for my video card.  Is there any benefit to even installing the official drivers?

Generic video drivers will not enable the advanced functions of your AMD graphics. If you do not need them, go with the generic drivers as they are smaller, hassle free and do not need to be updated on a regular basis.
