Samsung exynos processors are finally going to be used in Samsung phones

Interesting. I think that the fact that they were not used gives you an idea of just how big and widespread they truly are: things like cannibalizing your own divisions really doesn't matter to them because they have so many different revenue streams, I find that fascinating from a business perspective.

Weren't they already used? The S4 had an Exynos version and so did the Note II.

That explains why I'm always confused when people say 'Samsung never use Exynos CPUs in their phones'.

Every Samsung phone and tablet I've owned has had an Exynos CPU, haha.

US versions usually don't get Exynos chips cause of LTE nonsense, International versions are almost always using them.

Even to Samsung, the mobile chip industry has no allegiance. These guys can get a chip that is cheaper, better and consumes less power they will use it, even if its against their own chip division.
