ASUS K55N-DS81 still good?

The ASUS K55N-DS81 has a AMD A8-4500M APU at 1.9GHz and a 2.8 GH boost. This laptop is pretty old but for $370 it looks pretty good to me.

I only want this laptop for watching movies and playing some light games, mainly Garry's mod and some skyrim. I don;t really care at what settings they run at as long as they run at a decent frame rate.

I have no bias toward intel, nvidia or amd so thats not a problem for me

if anybody could suggest something newer that would be greeat

In terms of build quality, it's poor ( I have the same display and laptop case, the touchpad got off and the screen is just cheap )

But it will be good enough for some movies watching and Garrys Mod, Skyrim won't run good on it but meh.

For basic use and some light games it will be fine but don't expect too much of power from this laptop.

The one i'm looking at buying has actually had the screen replaced with a Samsung one so it might be better

How bad do you think Skyrim would be. I can put up with low settings at 30fps but anything less then that I'd rather play with a rock
